The owner of Building Designs by Stockton, Tim Stockton, has been providing the highest quality building design plans to the construction industry, with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Stockton is a Professional Building Designer member of the American Institute of Building Design (A.I.B.D.) All of our designs are done with the latest computer aided design (CAD) technology. The staff of Building Designs by Stockton has both expertise in construction and design, giving the client the assurance that their new building will be designed with the knowledge of the latest construction materials and methods, while also providing a well “thought out” traffic pattern proportionate with each floor plan and capable of designing exciting and trendy traditional building facades. Our "Award Winning Plans" have been showcased in many different Plan Magazines thru-out the country such as Better Homes and Garden, House Beautiful, Builder, Home Styles, America’s Best selling Home Plans, Countrypolitan Home Plans, etc.

We work hard to keep tabs on budget restraints along with the structural aspects and building code requirements. We want our Clients to always leave with their completed architectural plans in an upbeat and excited mood, in anticipation of their project ahead. Code Compliance

We are constantly learning new and improved construction techniques while keeping up with the changing building codes. Most of the prepared plans are primarily done to the most current International Residential Code (IRC), International Building Code (IBC), or Uniform Building Code (U.B.C.) Code jurisdiction depends on local state code requirement. You may wish to consult with a local A.I.B.D. building designer, engineer, architect, or building official to verify specific construction techniques and or building codes specific to your geographic area along with licensed architect or engineered stamp requirements, and have us or them prepare the necessary modifications to the plans to meet your local codes. Please feel free to contact us to assist you in bringing your plan in compliance. It is the obligation of the purchaser and or contractor to verify and comply with all local building codes.

(State of Oregon Requirements) Non- Exempt Buildings Except for single family dwellings and farm/agriculture buildings, all buildings exceeding the exempt size limitation-- ground area of over 4000 sq. ft., or height limit of over 20 feet in height- are considered non-exempt buildings. The services of a registered design professional are required if either limitation is exceeded.

License Agreement & Copyright

When you purchase a Building Designs By Stockton blueprint or Reproducible set, we, as Licensor, grant you, as Licensee, the right to use these documents to construct a single building (exceptions apply with separate contract when purchasing a CD or Reproducible set of drawings. All of the plans in our Portfolio are protected under the Federal Copyright Act, Title XVII of the United States Code and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations. All blueprints shown in this portfolio cannot be re-sold or used by any other person, copied, or reproduced by any means without written permission from Building Designs By Stockton.
